Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Relio LLC ("Relio," "we," "us," or "our") operates relioengine.com and provides job-posting compliance tools and talent advisory services. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Job-posting scans. We collect the careers-page or job-board URL submitted for review, publicly available posting content retrieved from that source, technical retrieval information, detected findings, and scan timestamps. A source may include a company name, job titles, locations, compensation text, benefits text, and other content the publisher made public.
System support requests. If a review cannot read a source and you ask us to add support for it, we collect the URL you submitted, the system we detected (if any), the reason the review could not read it, and, only if you choose to provide one, an email address so we can follow up. This is a separate record from the scan record above.
Continuous Monitoring. We collect the subscriber's email address, employer name, approved careers URL, approved job-board URLs, delivery preferences, scan history, findings, and access-link records needed to provide and secure the monitoring.
Portfolio Monitoring and accounts. We collect account credentials, organization and membership information, approved company names and careers URLs, subscription status, scan history, and saved results. Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing, not as readable text.
Advisory services. We collect information you provide through inquiries, email, scheduling, meetings, payment, and engagement delivery. This may include contact details, business context, role or hiring information, documents, and meeting notes.
Technical and usage information. We may collect IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referral or campaign parameters, cookies needed for security and session management, and aggregate website usage information.
Payments. Stripe processes payment-card information. Relio receives transaction identifiers, billing status, and limited customer information needed to administer a purchase, but does not store complete card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Provide scans, recurring monitoring, portfolio workspaces, advisory services, reports, support, and billing administration.
- Validate that a submitted source contains live postings and belongs within an approved company scope.
- Maintain service history, send requested reports and operational messages, and protect accounts and access links.
- Diagnose errors, secure the Services, prevent abuse, and improve source coverage and product performance.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.
Relio does not sell or rent personal information, use it for third-party behavioral advertising, or make employment decisions about individual candidates.
3. Public job-posting information
The scan processes employer content published on publicly accessible careers sites and job boards. Relio uses that content to provide the requested compliance review, maintain an audit history where applicable, and improve reliable source retrieval. The job-posting tools are not intended for candidate records, resumes, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive personal data. Do not submit that information through a careers URL or support request.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Relio uses service providers to operate the Services, including Stripe for payments, Cal.com for scheduling, Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers for hosting and security, and email providers for service communications. These providers process information on Relio's behalf under their own terms and privacy commitments. Relio may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
5. Cookies and analytics
Relio uses cookies or similar storage required for sessions, authentication, security, and preferences. Relio also uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site performance and feature usage, which sets first-party analytics cookies and records pages visited and product events such as starting a review. Relio does not enable advertising personalization, does not use third-party advertising cookies, and does not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To opt out of analytics, use your browser's cookie controls or install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also request that Relio exclude your usage by writing to support@relioengine.com.
6. Retention
- Free scan records: scheduled for deletion 30 days after the scan.
- Active monitors: retained while the subscription is active; monitor data is scheduled for deletion 90 days after cancellation.
- Portfolio and account data: retained while the account or subscription is active and then deleted or anonymized after applicable operational, backup, dispute, and legal-retention periods.
- Consulting records: retained for the engagement and afterward as reasonably needed for follow-up, contractual, professional, tax, and legal obligations.
- Payment and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable law.
Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten. Relio may retain de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify a person or customer.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. You may cancel a subscription through the available billing controls and unsubscribe from optional marketing communications. Operational messages required to deliver a purchased service may continue while that service remains active.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights, including rights to know, correct, delete, obtain a copy, or limit certain uses of personal information. Relio does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Security
Relio uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, environment separation, password hashing, and scoped access links. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep credentials and monitor links confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. International use
Relio operates from the United States. If you use the Services from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults and business users and are not directed to children under 18. Relio does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
Relio may update this policy as the Services and legal requirements evolve. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
